Everyone at GS, women and men, cross our arms in solidarity to commit to #BreakTheBias, supporting female talent to help shape a better, more inclusive, and diverse society.Ģ4 hours seems insufficient to highlight the achievements of so many in our network, so we are taking the opportunity over the next few weeks to pause, recognise and celebrate the many women we have appointed and get their perspective on bias and their action to achieve equality. In another inspiring year where our public services have been focused upon protecting communities, economic regeneration and education and building more sustainable environment, we are privileged to be at the centre of appointing and developing some of the UK’s leading female influencers every single day. Our award-winning Student Support Services provides a wide range of support, including financial advice, health and wellbeing, disability, mental health and dyslexia support, with dedicated specialist teams.We are privileged to see the talent shaping and delivering our public services working across over 600 of the most senior roles each year, with over 50% of placements being women*, and as women make up over a third of our own workforce, International Women’s Day is business as usual for GatenbySanderson. We are among the UK’s top five recruiters of students from disadvantaged backgrounds (2019 UK Social Mobility Awards) our Success For All agenda enables students from all backgrounds to have fair access to entry to NTU, additional academic support where needed, and an award-winning dashboard to analyse engagement of all groups of students, ensuring early intervention. We are a multi-award-winning institution, securing a ‘University of the Year’ title for three consecutive years (2017-2019), alongside a host of other accolades. We have over 1,300 apprentices currently enrolled - we are ranked in the UK’s top five universities for employer satisfaction (FE Choices Employer Satisfaction Survey’, 2019) with a score of 92% for the quality of our apprenticeship training.
